Inspired by the timeless techniques of Vermeer and the profound influence of my late father, David Louis my work reflects a deep connection to tradition and a passion for capturing the essence of my subjects. As a dedicated artist and craftsman, I also have the privilege of creating Baroque Flauto Traverso flutes, a skill I honed under the mentorship of the renowned flute maker Fridtjof Aurin. Each instrument I craft is made with the utmost care and precision, utilizing a rare stock of aged wood that has been meticulously processed to achieve unparalleled musical qualities.

Living in Maale Adumim with my wife Elisheva and our nine children, my art is a reflection of my life and heritage. I employ various styles and techniques to convey the rich cultural tapestry of Israel and the enduring legacy of its people.
